From the Main Lobby, select 'Ring Games'. Limit and No-Limit games are listed along the
left panel. Select the game of your choice, depending on skill level and number of players
at the table.
Once you select a game, the detail settings for that game are displayed on
the right hand side. You can further set the Bots, number of players, starting bankrolls,
rakes, and stakes. You can also save these settings for future games.
Go online and join a Play Money game or a Freeroll. Log on from the 'Main Lobby' by selecting
'Poker Academy Online'. You have to enter a Username that is unique on the Community. That's it.
Once you're online, you will see a 'Lobby Window' that shows all of the games. Play money games
are in green, Freerolls can be easily selected from the Freerolls tab.
If you install Poker Academy Pro on multiple machines, make sure to use the same Activation Key,
this way you can use the same Username online at all of them!
If you're not sure what action to take during a hand, check out what the advisor would do in your
shoes. The advisor is customizable, meaning if you can change his pre-flop and post-flop actions to suit your taste.
The advisor can be found in the right sidebar of the game play window.
To change advisors or tweak their style, click on the right facing arrow in the advisor panel. You will see a profile
name associaited with a fixed limit and no limit bot. Click on the drop down menu to select a different bot, or click
on the 'edit' button to tweak their settings.
If you can't help but look at the advisor and wish to hide him/her until you need assistance, click on the advisor..
You will now see the Poker Academy logo and if you'd like to see what your advisor is saying, simply move your
mouse cursor over him/her.

Keep track of how many hands you're playing by checking out your session stats at the top right
corner of the game play window. Click on the 'chart' button at the bottom of this panel to see detailed stats
outlining your current session. Everything from bankroll graph, pre-flop and post-flop action frequencies to a
sharks and fishes table is available to pinpoint your strengths and weakneses.
If you would like to practice playing in a certain position at the table, use the 'Freeze Button'
option from the 'Options' menu. The dealer button will then be locked in the current position for subsequent
hands until the 'Freeze Button' option is unchecked.
To move the dealer button manually, right click on the desired player's seat and choose 'Set Button'.
Poker Academy gives you the option to show all opponents hands during play. This can be used
to practice your bluffing techniques, eliminating players with stronger hands, or learn from watching bots play
certain hands. This feature can be toggled off and on by selecting 'Play all face-up' from the 'Options' menu.
So you know that you overplay mid-pairs from early position - now what? With Poker Academy Pro you
can put this knowledge to good use with our dealer options.
After starting a game with the opponents you like, select 'Dealer' -> 'Dealer Options'. For your seat, fix
your hole cards to be either a specific hand, or a general set of hands such as the 15% of middle hands. Next,
when the button is in the right place, go to 'Options' -> 'Freeze Button'.
Changing the settings for these two features, you can focus in on hundreds of scenarios and start to fill up
All hands played in Poker Academy are stored in a Hand History Database. The main Player Statistics
window provides access to all of the hand history and player analysis tools. This module lets you view hand
histories, import hands, track your session performance, view summarized reports on all of the players you've
faced, and dive into specific player statistics such as bankroll graphs, action frequencies, and more.
To access your player statistics, click on 'Player Statistics' from the Main Lobby or choose 'Player Statistics' from
the 'Window' menu.
Poker Academy's Hand Evaluator can compute and summarize a detailed evaluation of any Hold'em hand,
including draw potential. The Hand Evaluator can be accessed by selecting 'Hand Evaluator' from the 'Window' menu
or from the Main Lobby. Custom cards can be entered along the top by clicking on each of the card buttons. Once hole
cards have been entered, some statistics become immediately available. For instance, the draws to the flop, turn, and
river, for that hand will be shown under the draws tab. Most calculations, however, also require board cards to be
entered as well.
The Showdown Calculator is a powerful tool for calculating the chances of a hand winning, tying, or losing at
the showdown. This tool is available by selecting 'Showdown Calculator' from either the 'Window' menu or from the
Cards can be loaded from games in progress by choosing 'Load Current Hand' or 'Load Hand and Opponent Hands' from
the 'Options' menu.
If you would like to analyze your online play at Party Poker, Paradise, or Poker Stars, use the 'Hand History Importer'
available in the 'Player Statistics' module. To access 'Player Statistics' select it from either the 'Window' menu or the Main Lobby.
On the left hand side of the Player Statistics window are two buttons. Choose the downward pointing arrow button to launch
the Hand History Impoter.
Upon completing the import, you'll be able to view your hand histories, action frequencies, bankroll graphs, sharks and fishes table,
preflop stats and have the ability to easily analyze hand strengths and watch replays of hands.
Drag your family and friends to the computer and let/make them watch your sensational play. In the 'Player Statistics'
window, available from the 'Window' menu or the Main Lobby, you'll see a 'Histories' tab. Select this tab to view all your
saved hands. On the right hand side of this window you will see the hand transcript and just below this a series of buttons.
The play button will load the hand and allow you to watch your awe inspiriing play.
Don't like the way an opponent plays? We have a number of different opponents to choose from.
From the Main Lobby, you can select 'Opponent Manager', if you are already in a game select
Window -> Opponent Manager. Players are sorted by the type of bot. Each bot has different
characteristics that determines how it plays. Next to most players is a comment of what that
player is like - over time, you will learn how the different bots play.
During any ring game you can change that opponent by Right-Clicking on the seat you want to
change. Select the 'Change Opponent' and then find the Bot you would like to put in this seat.
If you get tired of pushing the 'Deal Hand' button, you can enable auto-deal. This option is
available from 'Options' -> 'Auto Deal'.
You can also tweak the settings if the gameplay moves to slow or too quick. Under 'Options'
-> 'Edit Throttles', there are settings to change how fast each animation takes, as well as
'Auto-Zip' and 'Fast Folds'. There are instructions on the side which explains all of these
